This week, I wanted to encourage you with something Jesus spoke to His disciples about. Jesus was making the point that no matter what you do, there will always be someone who says something!
In Matthew 11:18-19 Jesus said “For John didn't spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, 'He's possessed by a demon. The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, 'He's a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners! But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”
It’s very clear that no matter what you do, good or bad, people will always have something to say so just do what you are called to do and forget what the nay-sayers have to say because in the end, they are not the one you owe any explanation to!
The Bible tells us that we have to give account to the Lord for everything we do on this earth (Romans 14:12). So, instead of worrying about what others have to say, focus on the things that really matter and that is being who God has called you to be and doing the things you are anointed and ordained to do!
Amen?
