God Loves You!

Can I start by saying that God loves you? Yes, He does. In fact, the Bible tells us that God loves us with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3) and that His love is unfailing (Psalm 13:5). In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it says “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

So now, knowing this, whenever you see the word love, replace it with God and this will blow your mind. It would look like this: God is patient and kind. God is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. He does not demand His own way. He is not irritable, and He keeps no record of being wronged. He does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. God never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Wow, how beautiful is that?

I want to remind you what Romans 8:38-39 says. “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Whenever the devil tells you that God does not love you, remember that the Word of God and His word are proof that He loves you! God sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to die for you (John 3:16). God created you with a purpose (Ephesians 2:10), and wants you to know that there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). When you make a mistake, get right back up! God is the lifter of our head (Psalm 3:3) and never comes down on us the way we think He does. He is our compassionate Heavenly Father and wants a relationship with you! I want to encourage you to open up your Bible daily and fill your mind with this one truth: God loves you.
