Jesus Is Your Best Friend!

If there’s anybody that wants the best for you more than you, it’s Jesus. If there’s anybody you can run to when things are falling apart it’s Jesus. If there’s anybody who is always right there to encourage you and pick you right back up it’s Jesus. If there’s anybody who loves you more than anybody in this entire world, it’s Jesus.

It’s very easy for people to just leave you when you don’t measure up to their expectations and it’s very easy for people to just write you off when you make a mistake. I understand and have been on both sides of the equation. Can I tell you that Jesus won’t ever leave you or write you off when you make a mistake? When God makes a promise to you, He keeps it every time because He keeps His promises (Psalm 145:13) and He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19).

So, when God says He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6), He means that. When He says that He loves you (John 3:16), He means that. God will never lie to you and will never fail you. He is our source for all things and He is our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1) His love is unfailing (Psalm 36:5) which means, His love will never fail, never quit, and is unconditional.

Jesus is truly the best friend anybody could ever want and He wants a relationship with you right now. He wants to help you, bless you, commune with you, and talk to you about anything and everything that is in your heart. He is wanting you to confide in Him right now. Having a personal relationship with Jesus is life-changing, and it’s not about works and what you can do to make Him love you.

When Jesus is your best friend, you know that despite your flaws, He loves you. Despite your mistakes, when you repent, He forgives. He already paid the price for your sins to be forgiven. When you place your faith in Jesus Christ, you take part in the finished works on the Cross and now have an eternal relationship with God the Father and access 24/7, 365 days a year. I’d say that’s the best exchange and the greatest gift we could ever receive.
