Put on Christ

What does the Word of God mean when it says “all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes” (Galatians 3:27) Is it possible that every day, you can declare that you are wearing joy, you are wearing victory, you are wearing peace, you are wearing the righteousness of God, you are wearing truth, you are wearing wisdom and so much more? Yes! This verse is proof that you can put on all of these things and more because that is who Jesus Christ is. Isn’t He the Prince of Peace? (Isaiah 9:6) Isn’t He made to be all wisdom? (Colossians 2:3) Isn’t He the way, the truth, and the life? (John 14:6) Isn’t He the champion and victorious One (Hebrews 12:2) Isn’t His joy our strength? (Nehemiah 8:10) Aren’t we made the righteousness of God in Christ? (2 Corinthians 5:21)

I urge you to confess daily that you are putting on Christ! You are letting the devil know that no matter what the natural looks like Jesus Christ, His death on the Cross, and His blood are more powerful than anything that comes your way! The Word of God is more powerful than any force of hell that tries to come against you and your family! Clothe yourself with victory. Clothe yourself with joy in the face of adversity. Clothe yourself with peace. Clothe yourself with faith! There is power in your words, but also in your actions because faith without works is dead (James 2:17) I know that once you do this, you will begin to see yourself stronger and victorious to conquer your day!
