As we wrap up 2022, I want you to do a bit of reflecting on how the year went for you. We must remember the Lord our God in everything that happened to us because it is He who gives us great success in everything that we do. (Deuteronomy 8:18) Did He answer your prayers? Did He bless you? Did He heal you? Did He give you guidance? Did you start something new this year? Take some time to write out everything the Lord has done for you this year and all that you have accomplished in 2022. This will be a reminder of His faithfulness to answer your prayers and a testament to His goodness.
When we begin to remember Him and His goodness, we stay in a powerful position of peace and nothing can take that away from us. When the devil tries to come and distract us or make us feel defeated, you can go back to when God got you out of a dark situation and tell the devil to go back to the pit of hell where he belongs. God wants us to remember because that’s where the victory is. God wants us to be grateful for the things He has given to us because being in a place of gratitude allows our generous Father to bless us with more.
As you step in 2023, speak victory over your year - speak health - speak love - speak peace - speak joy - speak great success! As you go into a brand new year, let the Lord guide and lead you every step of the way and stay ready to thank Him because He is going to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we might ask, think or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)
