In walking with the Lord, I have come to realize that He loves to do things in seasons. There is a specific grace and anointing for one season, and for another season there is another specific grace and anointing. I love what Ecclesiastes 3:1 says which is “for everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Some seasons may be shorter than others, and some seasons may feel like a very long time.
God shows us that seasons are very important in that some seasons there is growth and some seasons there are things that need to be removed. Every season has its purpose and God always wants us to learn and grow from it. Even in the most difficult seasons where God is stretching you in your faith, He wants you to learn something valuable during that time. There are seasons that may seem so difficult and all God wants you to realize is that you need to rely on Him and His strength to get you through.
I have found that in the most difficult seasons of my life, I see God’s grace and strength shine like never before. I see His compassion and how trustworthy He is in the tough times. It’s through the refining and the difficulty that I see the Lord building me up and I find a new strength that I didn’t have before.
If you are in a season that seems unfamiliar to you, or you don’t know what you are going to do, or how you are going to get through it - look up. Look to the One who gives wisdom and guidance. Look to the One who gives courage and strength to the weary. Ask the Lord to show you what it is you are supposed to be learning, and what it is you are to be developing during this season, and you will see God come through and answer your prayers like the faithful Father He is.
