Have you ever heard that phrase that says “it’s us against the world” well in this context that is very well true? You see, when we become born again we become set apart and separated, transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light because of God’s mercy and grace towards us. Now, we are against the wicked schemes of the enemy, the attacks and we are now in the spiritual warfare against evil in this world. The devil is known as the “god of this world” because of what happened in Genesis with Adam and Eve. They gave up the dominion that God gave to them and handed it over to the devil when they gave into temptation and committed the first sin of treason.
When Christ came into this world, He defeated sin on the cross and defeated the enemy when He went to hell and conquered sin face to face; and better yet rose from the grave in glory! Now, because of Him, we have a way of redemption and salvation from sin and the curse it brought upon this earth.
Glory be to Jesus Christ who always causes us to triumph. In Christ, we are more than conquerors and no weapon that is formed against us will prosper because we have the Victor and the victory right within us, and willingly lives on the inside of us. Christ in us is the hope of glory.
