When You've Done All You Can to Stand - Stand

Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:13 “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” This chapter in Ephesians is very significant in that it gives you instructions on how to consistently defeat satan whenever you feel an attack come. We all know that satans only agenda is to kill, steal and destroy according to John 10:10. Why is this so important for us to know?

Well, we all know that if we weren’t carrying the light and the power of the Holy Spirit within us, satan would not even bother coming against us. But we are agents of change, and we have the authority and the power by the blood of Jesus and His Word to overcome the enemy. Since satan is aware of this, he knows he can’t stop God’s plan for you, but he will do everything he can in the process to discourage you in the waiting and even prolong your blessing by getting you to step out of faith and bring you to a place of doubt. When Paul says when you have done all to stand, KEEP ON STANDING.

How do we do this? We believe that Jesus Christ is who He says He is and is able to deliver us because He is faithful to perform. Not only that, but God has great plans for your life, and when you begin to tap into your destiny and what God has in store for you, you are going to need to continually have the full armor of God on because your enemy is going to try and discourage you.

You are going to need faith to distinguish the fiery darts of the doubt when it comes, the shoes of peace to remain calm in every season, the belt of truth to always remind you of God’s promises and that He is the way, the truth, and the life, the helmet of salvation to keep you grounded by the Holy Spirit, the breastplate of righteousness to remind you that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God to tell satan “it is written..” when he tries to tell you lies.

I believe that God is going to bless you abundantly because He does keep His promises - every single one of them. Keep standing on His promises, and continue to speak in faith for your breakthrough. Speak life over your dreams and goals. Speak life over your children, speak like over every circumstance. We have the ability to change the course of our lives with the authority of our Words and speak God’s word over every situation. You are going to come out delivered, prospered, stronger, and blessed in Jesus’ name!
