Have you been questioning whether God sees your hard work behind the scenes or not? Have you been asking yourself if that hard work and dedication will pay off? Have you doubted that God would even bless what you are working so hard to achieve? Let me remind you that God sees everything and knows all hearts and motives (Proverbs 16:2) Nothing is hidden from His sight (Hebrews 4:12) and so to answer your questions, yes He does see your hard work and dedication and yes there is a blessing on the other side for your obedience.
You see, if God has called you into business, into ministry, into education or whatever it is that God has called you to do, He doesn’t intend on having you work and there be no reward or “harvest” attached to it. Your continued dedication on a daily basis is the seed that is being sown into what you are setting your mind to. I want to bring you to Galatians 6:9 which says “So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up”.
There is a set harvest time for YOU when you don’t give up on yourself and the work you are called to do. The seeds of time and energy, the seeds of dedication and commitment, the seeds of discipline and hard work are being sown in the spirit, and there is always a seed, time and harvest! This goes for any type of seed. Let me give you an example. Genesis 1:2 says that the seed produces after its own kind and Jesus says in Mark 4:28 that the earth produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head [of grain], then the mature grain in the head. Let’s take this principle and apply it to an apple tree. Apple trees can only produce apples right? How does it start then?
Well, you first need the seed, and there is a time of waiting and watering the seed and making sure it gets sunlight to grow. The harvest is not only the tree but the fruit that the tree produces which is the apples. The same goes for seeds that we sow. You can sow your hard work and dedication, but you will need to water it with your words, speaking life and building your faith in the waiting. In due season, you will accomplish that goal or dream and that would be the fruit or the harvest you receive.
I love that the Word of God can be applied to everything we encounter in this life and is a powerful blueprint for what we are to do in the good and tough times. I want to encourage you to keep pressing forward. God has a mighty harvest in store for you, if you keep going and faint not!
