God Will Move

One of the hardest things for us to do is to pray and then wait on the Lord to move. Sometimes we feel that if He’s taking too long then maybe He didn’t hear us the first time, or maybe He didn’t even answer our prayers. I want to let you know that the enemy likes to use time against us and if we are not careful, we can be very unfruitful and unproductive with the time we have.

When we pray according to the Word and will of the Lord for our lives, we can be sure He answers our prayers. We know that when we pray in faith and have no doubt, and believe that what we are praying for is already ours, we shall have it (Mark 11:24). The prayer has already been answered, but now we have to wait to see the manifestation to come to pass. God has to do things behind the scenes in order for that prayer to come to pass.

This waiting on our part should not be passive waiting. We are to continuously be confessing and believe God every day. We should be standing on His Word and His promises daily, and if we fail to do this then the enemy can easily come in and delay the promise from coming to pass. He will try to use doubt and fear to delay that promise.

This is why we have to be strategic with our time and practice patience in the waiting and trust that God is working all things out behind the scenes even if we can’t see it with our own eyes. We have to trust the character of the Lord and understand that God cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18), and that He can be trusted to keep His promises. This will defeat the attacks from the enemy when we are actively waiting for our prayers to come to pass in the natural. God will move on your behalf when you stand on His Word and have faith in Him!
