3 years ago, I had just gotten born again. I was believing God to leave New York and start a new life. One night, I was reading the book of Isaiah and the Lord brought me to Isaiah 43. When I read verse 19 which says “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” I knew that the Lord had heard the cry of my heart. It wasn’t a coincidence that 2 months later, I moved to a completely different state, got married, and started a new job. God confirmed that He was doing a new thing, but at that moment I couldn’t see it. At that moment, I could’ve disregarded what He told me, but instead, I held onto that and He came through.
I tell you this because the same God who did all of this for me is the same God who will do the same for you! He is no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). I know that God is wanting to do a new thing in so many of your lives today! I want you to declare Isaiah 43:19 over 2023, and believe that God can be taken at His word. Don’t be moved by the impossible, because nothing is impossible for the one who believes (Mark 9:23). God is not moved by the natural! God is moved by faith!
Whatever you are believing Him for, keep holding on to it. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). Will you believe that He is faithful to give you what you are asking Him for? Will you believe that God is the redeemer and the restorer? Will you believe Him? I want to encourage you to sit down with the Lord and thank Him in advance for what He is about to do in your life! Breakthroughs and miracles happen when we give our Heavenly Father praise and thanksgiving and declare that He will do what He promised! Go into 2023 expecting the victory!
