If there is someone you can trust with your entire life, it would be Jesus Christ. I know, people have let you down, situations tried to bring you down, that person you trusted failed you big time. But can I tell you something? God won’t. Through the toughest times of my life, I can say that God never ever left me. During those times I found out who was really by my side and the first person I knew I could run to was Jesus.
Deuteronomy 31:8 says “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” No matter what happens, God goes before you meaning He’s in front of you guiding you on the right path. After all, He is the Good Shepherd (John 10:11). He will be with you which means you are never alone when you face trials and tribulations and no matter how bad things get, He will never forsaken you.
To forsaken something or someone means to abandon. If you have had people leave you over a mistake or abandon you, please understand that God is NOT THEM. He doesn’t operate in anything other than love and because of His love for you, that will cause Him to help and guide you instead of leaving you when times get rough. God is our perfect Father, who loves us unconditionally.
He cares for us and takes full responsibility for us because we are His children. He is there through the good and the bad times. How wonderful is that?! I want to encourage you to always remember that God will never leave you, and will be with you to comfort and guide you when you need it.
