Made With Purpose

If nobody has ever told you that you were made with a purpose, well I am telling you now. God’s Word says in Ephesians 2:10 “for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” This right here proves that before God ever knitted you together in your mothers womb (Psalm 139:13), God had a purpose and plan for you to do every good work. The work for the Kingdom is the highest call on our lives and God does not just create us to be idle. In fact, God created us to be a part of His masterplan, which is advancing the Kingdom, and preaching the Holy Word to the lost and get them saved from eternal damnation.

There is the Jeremiah 1:5 principle, and when God spoke to Jeremiah He said “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Although you may not be called to the office of prophet, the principle is that God forms you, appoints you, sets you apart and has a strategic and intentional assignment on your life.

You were not created by accident because God is perfect and does not create anything by accident. He is very purposeful and intentional. Did you read that? Yes, you are intentionally made, in fact you are His masterpiece! It is time to understand that you have gifts and talents that only you are anointed to use if you choose to do so. God has a calling on everyone's life, but few take on the call. Jesus said Himself that many are called, but few are chosen, meaning that they actually take on their calling and purpose to serve the Lord. (Matthew 22:14). Will you be the one who will step into all that God has for you? Will you ask the Lord what it is you are called to do? Will you step into that calling once God reveals it to you?

Let me leave you with this. Jeremiah 29:11 says “for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Well there is no need to be afraid to step into your calling because God promises that you can lean on Him for protection and that He has great plans for you that include an expected end and an abundance of blessings and prosperity!
